Kingdom Curriculum

The Kingdom Curriculum is mandatory for those submitted to the creator because "He has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son (Yeshua) of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins." (Col.1:13,14)

As citizens of His kingdom we should not abdicate the responsibility for the souls we create to the worlds system of education , which is founded upon the Greek curriculum.  We are "...not to be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our mind, that we may prove what is that functional and perfect will of Elohim (Powers)." (Rom. 12:2)

We are to be "...the salt of the earth and the light of the world." (Mat. 5:13,14) With that responsibility, the next generation should not have to spend time battling cognitive dissonance to uproot unreliable knowledge.

Shalom

 Overview

The scriptures are sufficient for teaching and equipping any child for a fruitful, successful, purpose filled life.

“There is no wisdom, or understanding, or counsel against Yahweh.” (Prov. 21:30)

“All writing is by the Spirit of Powers, and is established for teaching, and for bringing to account to return a soul, and for uprightness, and for discipline in righting wrongs” (II Timothy 3:16)

All subjects find their foundation and relevance in the Torah, because all matter came into being in purpose within the 7 days of creation, there is nothing new under the sun. Upon so, the curriculum is built upon those 7 days with man’s relating to all aspects of the earth spoken into existence, each with their specific purpose and function. The Kingdom Curriculum is based upon those 7 days of creation, going into more detail relative to the maturation of the child. Foundational to the Kingdom Currriculum is the understanding of what they are, who they are, and why they exist.

“And it will be the stability of your times, holding firmly salvation, wisdom and knowledge; the fear of Yahweh, it is His treasure.” (Isaiah 33:6)

Education begins at birth; birth to 6 are the individual’s formative years, and 6 to 12 solidifies everything learned during those formative years. At 12 years or adolescence/puberty, they are accountable for their own spiritual walk relating to Yahweh. A male is a young man ready for apprenticeship toward being a provider and protector, and a female is a young woman, given the purpose of now ovulating, toward nurturing and educating her children. Realizing these inherent traits is the assurance of life’s purpose, and satisfaction based upon our biological makeup.

Any parent can teach their children general education. All that is required is reading (research skills), writing (expressing thoughts), arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), and history (knowledge of our origins unto the present context). That will give the child all of the tools they will need to hone their gifting in any field of calling. But general education means nothing without character shaping.

As parents/teachers our responsibility is to instill the discipline and obedience learned best in the first years, to ground them in the Word, and to model a life of relationship with, and dependency upon YHWH. This will ensure that they know and are confident in their identity as children of the Most High, and will equip them for their purpose in all of creation "Be fruitful and multiply, right wrongs, meet needs, and set things in order for the innocent, the orphan and widow, and the poor and needy."
