Comparing the Traditional Translations with the Concrete Translations.

Traditional translation Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the water.

Concrete translation In Beginnings (Gen) 1:1-2 In beginnings Powers created all that is in relationship to the heavens and all that is in relationship to the earth, 2and the earth became internally chaotic and it’s elements externally confused, and darkness was upon the face of the swirling agitated ocean waves, and the wind of the Spirit of Powers was hovering over the face of the waters.

Traditional translation Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

Concrete translation In Beginnings 1:26 And Powers said, “We will make man in our image, according to our likeness. And they will dominate with the fish of the sea, and with the flyer of the heavens, and with the domesticated, and in all the earth, and with all of the creeping, the creepers upon the earth.”

Traditional translation Genesis 3:16 To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.”

Concrete translation In Beginnings 3:16 Unto the woman He said, “Increasing I will increase your painful toil in conjunction with your conception; in effort you will birth sons. And unto your husband is your striving, but he, he will rule (determine role or character) against you.”

Traditional translation Genesis 3:22 Then the LORD God said, "Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever"

Concrete translation In Beginnings 3:22 And YHWH of Powers said, “See, the man, he became like one away from us, toward knowing function in conjunction with dysfunction, and now, lest he stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of the lives (life), and he will eat, and he will live forever.”

Traditional translation Genesis 11:6 And the LORD said, "Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them.”

Concrete translation In Beginnings 11:6 And YHWH said, “See, a people being one, and one lip for all of them, and this they begin to do. And now, he (satan) will never protect from them all which they plot to do.”

Traditional translation Exodus 3:14 And God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM." And He said, "Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, "I AM has sent me to you."'

Concrete translation Names 3:14 And Powers said unto Mosheh, “I will be who or what I will be”; and He said, “Thus you will say to the sons of Yisra’eil, ‘Ehyeh (I will be), has sent me unto you.’”

Traditional translation Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.

Concrete translation And He Called 17:11 Because the soul of the flesh, it is in the blood; and I, I have given it to you upon the altar for a covering upon your souls; because it is the blood, it will cover against the soul.’

Traditional translation Leviticus 26:21, 24 “21Then, if you walk contrary to Me, and are not willing to obey Me, I will bring on you seven times more plagues, according to your sins…24 then I also will walk contrary to you, and I will punish you yet seven times for your sins.”

Concrete translation And He Called 26:21, 24 “21And if you will walk with Me without intent, and you will not submit to listen to Me, I will increase upon you affliction, fully, according to your sins…24 Then I will walk, even I, with you with no intent, and I will strike > you, also I, fully, over your sins.”

Traditional translation Numbers 20:12 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, "Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them."

Concrete Translation In The Wilderness 20:12 But YHWH said unto Mosheh and unto Aharon, “Because you did not cause dependence in Me, to prepare Me for a task to the eyes of the sons of Yisra’eil, for so, you will not bring > this assembly unto the land which I have given to them.”

Traditional translation Deuteronomy 28:66 Your life shall hang in doubt before you; you shall fear day and night, and have no assurance of life.

Concrete translation The Words 28:66 And your life will be being indecisive to you from expressing an opposite view; and you will fear impending danger night and day, and you will not trust in your life;

Traditional translation Psalm 8:5 And You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

Traditional translation Psalm 139:16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Concrete translation Tehilim 139:16 Your eyes saw my embryo (being shapeless), and upon Your book all of them, they will be written, the days, they were compressed (120 yrs is 43,200 days) when there was not one in them.

Traditional translation Proverbs 19:18 Chasten your son while there is hope, And do not set your heart on his destruction.

Concrete translation Mishlei (Parables) 19:18 Restrain (set limits for) your son becuase there is hope, and towards his death you will not lift up your soul.

Traditional translation Proverbs 30:6 Do not add to His words, lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.

Concrete translation Mishlei (Parables) 30:6 Do not add upon His words lest He will rebuke against you, and you will have deceived yourself.

Traditional translation Ecclesiastes 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine makes merry; but money answers everything.

Concrete translation Qoheleth (Assemblies) 10:19 For laughter they are making bread, and wine, it will rejoice lives; but the silver (money), it will make dependent all relating to the all.

Traditional translation Lamentations 3:38 Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that woe and well-being proceed?

Traditional translation John 8:51 "Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death."

Concrete translation Yochanan 8:51 "Believe truly, I say to you, if anyone keeps the word of Me, death he will never see into the age."

Traditional translation John 8:52 Then the Jews said to Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.'”

Concrete translation Yochanan 8:52 Then the Yehudim said unto Him, "Now we know that You have a demon! Avraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, 'If anyone keeps My word he will never taste (experience) death into the age.'”

Traditional translation 1 Pet. 2:2 “…as new born babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,”

Concrete translation 1 Pet. 2:2 “…as new born babes, the pure, unadulterated milk of the word, desire, that by it you may grow up unto salvation (essence of existence).”

Remember, these are just some examples, it's okay, get mad!!! Righteous indignation is justified!!!

Grace (chein) – enabling, from root (chanan) – bestow traits of divine enablement, fulfilling request for favor; equip with intellectual abilities

Mercy (chesed) – devote oneself entirely; give oneself to needs; being selfless

Righteousness (tsadiq) from root (tsadaq) – satisfy objective justice; right a wrong; correcting

Salvation (yasha’) – grant essence of existence; save

Glory (kavod) – weigh; being heavy; value; be important; spiritual greatness; giving honor

Good (towv) – functional; operating according to design; fulfill purpose; beauty; advance benefit to man

Evil / Bad (ra’) – break into pieces; not functioning according to design or purpose; dysfunction

Wicked (rasha’) – act illegally; break the statutes arbitrarily; established breaker

Sin (chata) – remove from source of life; distancing from Yah; missing the mark

Hate (sanei’) – reject and distance; keeping away

Iniquity (awon) – deviation; from the root (‘awah) – transgress; deviate from proper way

Transgression (pesha’) – misuse a relationship; misuse another’s possession; crime

Judge (diyn) – sentence; apply final judgement

Forever (`owlam) – to be hidden or obscured from sight; translated as eternity; everlasting

Love (ahav) – devote completely to another; relate intimately

Judgment (mishpat) – from the root (shaphat) – put in order; create order & harmony

Sabbath (shabbath) – stop work; cease ongoing activity

Jubilee – (yoveil) from root (yaval) – bring home; receiving objects of value; return to proper place; year of homecoming (“jubilee” is the English transliteration of the Hebrew)

Feast – (chag) from root – (chaga) – turn; circle; observe cyclical holidays; recurring festival

Peace (shalom) – being complete and harmonious; being whole

את (eit) – Aleph-Tau; direct object marker (>), written over 10,000 times, yet not translated; draws significance to the noun it precedes meaning "all that is in relationship to"
